The 2023 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships will take place on Zwift, February 18, 2023. In its third year of competition, Team USA will be sending another stacked squad with the hopes of taking the Cycling Esport rainbow jersey. With nominations from both the UCI and USA Cycling, 11 men and 7 women will toe the virtual starting line from their living rooms. Matt Gardiner and Jennifer Real are back for another year to direct the men’s and women’s races.
Race favorites will be Kristen Kulchinsky (Dix Hills, N.Y.; Twenty 24) in the women’s race who is currently the top-ranked female in the world, and J Bruhn (Baton Rouge, La.; NeXT p/b Enshored) for the men, currently ranked second on ZwiftPower.
