USA Cycling announced today the three athletes that will represent the United States at the 2018 UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships taking place in Tri Cime Dolomiti Auronzo Di Cadore, Italy September 15, 2018
Among the competitors is 2018 Cross Country National Champions Kate Courtney (San Francisco, Calif.; Specialized Factory Racing Team) and Howard Grotts (Durango, Colo.; Specialized Bicycles Factory Racing Team).
“We are fielding a strong team for the Marathon World Championships highlighted by our two highest ranked cross country riders in Howard Grotts and Kate Courtney,” said Marc Gullickson, Performance Director of USA Cycling’s Mountain Bike Program.
