Cyclist Colin Patterson speaks with Parker from USA Cycling about his record setting attempt of riding as much vertical gain possible within 24 hours. Back in July, Colin got the idea from Peter Stetina’s ride to raise money for the High Fives Foundation, and decided to try to break the record for most vertical gain in 24 hours. During his attempt, Colin pedaled up 68,633 vertical feet in under 24 hours. We found out what kept Colin on the bike every trip up the hill and if he would ever tackle a challenge like that again. He also enlightened us on some of the more interesting notes of what happened during this full day effort.
